KUALA LUMPUR, July 30 — Rohana Abdullah, whose father is said to be a Malaysian and who was abandoned by her Indonesian mother, is able to achieve her dreams of pursuing a higher education as Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM) offered her a place to do a diploma in computer science today.

PUTRAJAYA, April 29 — Rohana Abdullah, the 22-year-old woman who was left by her Indonesian birth mother to be cared for by a Malaysian Chinese woman, shed tears of joy while accepting the letter granting her the Malaysian citizenship status from the Home Minister Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainuddin today.

LARUT, Jan 22 — The government has no problem issuing citizenship certificates to applicants if they can produce a valid marriage document, said Home Minister Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin.
